Addition of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) to vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) rearing media to increase the growth rate

Abstract Research on the addition of potatoes to vannamei shrimp ( Litopenaeus ) rearing media increase growth rate was carried out in April-May 2022 at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty Marine Fisheries, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. This study aimsed determine effect produced by medium appropriate dose potato shrimp. The used fry with a size PL22. research container is form 12 pieces 20L. each filled as much 3 ind/L. experimental design completely randomized four treatments three replications. given were Treatment A (controlled), B (4 g/ind), C (4.5 g/ind) D (5 g/ind). parameters observed absolute weight, length, specific rate, survival results showed that had significant (P<0,05) conclusion highest additional 5 g/ind
